We have been made aware of scam calls from an individual falsely claiming to represent Pittsfield Cooperative Bank. The caller states a suspicious check is being presented at another bank and may send a link to a “secure portal” via email. Please be aware that caller ID may appear as though the call is coming from us.

Please remember:
• Do not click suspicious links or open unexpected attachments
• Do not provide personal, account, login, or business information through email or over the phone unless you initiated the contact
• Verify suspicious requests by contacting us directly using a trusted phone number
• Be cautious of caller ID spoofing, as fraudsters can make calls appear as though they are coming from legitimate organizations
